Leaving a bind by lifting the blade off the opponent's and cutting around to the other side.
When the opponent is hard in the bind, instead of pushing back you take your blade off theirs and cut to the other side of their head. The Zornhau gloss describes it directly. Because it momentarily releases the bind, it must be done with a step and with the hilt kept high, or the opponent can follow after.
